I've polled my crew, and they are all for lowering the lifelines. All but one crew (6'5" tall) would be happy with 14". My one tall crew would prefer 18" so he can get his long legs out quicker when we tack. If there was a vote, I would vote to make it optional to lower the lifelines ...

We are in the Mid atlantic PHRF. Inboards are 171, and OB 168. We are allowed to raise our board, altough there has been requests to the commitee to have the board locked down ( sore losers?). So far we have prevailed in being able to raise the board.

I am expierencing a strange problem in tuning my mast. My port side inner stay is always much looser than the starboardd stay. I took my fiddle block off, measured the sheaves, called scheafer marine and they sent me 2 new sheaves. What a difference it made in raising the keel!
