Travis, I have a few photos I will send. I cut out the bulkhead tonight. Tomorrow I will seal the edges with epoxy, and prep the hull sides and centerboard trunk. With any luck I will start glassing it in Wed. night depending on the weather. I will post more details as I progress.

Starboard Bulkhead Update ; Bulkhead is out of boat, was glassed to hull and was original. What I thought was a vertical joint was just the end of the teak veneer. It definitely needed replacement, you can't see all the rotted areas until the chain-plate is removed and bulkhead removed. Already have...

Starboard Bulkhead Replacement
Hi, I'm a new S2 7.9 owner and getting ready to replace starboard bulkhead. I have read some of the postings here, my question is when i peel back the carpet near the hull edge I see a vertical joint where the teak bulkhead stops and a narrow length of mahogany is glassed to the hull.
