Not sure why you won't consider Charleston a week earlier for Charleston Race Week. I believe it's less travel time as well for most boats and more bang for your buck.

It would be a great idea to promote the NOOD and Sarasota OD events as a sort of mid-winter series for the 7.9's. Clubs could allow travelling 7.9's to leave their boats on site between events.
