Re: 2011 Annapolis NOODs April 29 - May 1
If anyone coming to Annapolis has a Doyle-Boston D4 genoa with two seasons or less on it, and is interested in selling, let me know. I'll be there with Bart Weldon sailing on Peregrine; Maniac is staying in Boston.

Re: Lake Erie 7.9ers
If it wasn't so damn far I'd bring Maniac. I lived and raced in Sandusky for four years back in the mid 80s and loved it. It is a wonderful area. SSC is a nice club.

Thanks to Horizon and Rebel for letting us go to school on you guys. We really learned alot! We'll never forget making you duck us ... once. We had a great time. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

Maniac and Peregrine have slips reserved at City Marina. It would be fun to get others there as well. It is one block from the Boatyard Bar & Grill and only a couple blocks from the party tent.

Re: 2010 Annapolis NOODs ---> April 30 - May 2
I highly recommend this event for anyone whose local season doesn't start until May (especially all you Great Lakes sailors!). I've done it the last three years on Peregrine (395) and am taking my boat this year (Maniac, 311). You get in 8 good races, so once your local season kicks off you are alre...

After a long hiatus from one design racing, Maniac (#311) will be back in action at the Annapolis NOODs. Come party with the Maniacs and our buddies on Peregrine! Last year we set a record for the most Cheasepeake Ales on one tab at the Boatyard Bar & Grill, and we're looking to beat it this yea...

Need advice: damange to c-board trunk
Two years ago I struck a ledge hard enough to pivot the c-board and force the aft edge of the board about two inches into the trunk/bottom. Several attempts at "professional" repair have not been completely successful (also had damage where top of forward portion of board went into trunk, ...

Starboard bulkhead rot
I've found rot at the top of the bulkhead. It is most pronounced about 5 inches outboard of the inboard edge. I'd like to make sure I deal with the source of the moisture, but so far haven't found it. Any suggestions as to what the culprit might be?

Cockpit Locker Leak
I am getting an unusually large amount of rain water accumulating in the cockpit locker, and have not yet been able to determine the source of the leak. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Carpet Replacement
I am considering purchasing and "rescuing" an older boat in which the carpet is badly mildewed and should be replaced. Does anyone have any thoughts on doing this? i.e., is it feasible; is there anyone who does this, and if so, how much does it cost; how much expertise does it require; etc.
