Vakaros
Skip Vakaros; its delicate, unreliable, expensive. There is a story why, but I bought a second one (Atlas) which failed utterly; it will not turn off now,and not turning off. All emails unanswered (save one said to clean the contacts; but there are no contacts!). I Looked at Sailing Anarchy and lots...

Re: Rudder disks
I use a UHMW adhesive 4" tape that I "stuck" on each side or rudder years ago that solves all problems. I grew weary of trying to thread the rudder bolt thru 4 unaligned holes; with the tape fixed on rudder, inserting the rudder takes 10 secs. Let me know if I can help.

Re: 2009 Rule Change Suggestions
We five Nashville S2 owner-sailors unanimously do not sympathize as much with the offender, but do sympathize with the offended, and are confused as to why so much "oh poor guy" toward the offender. Their solution is easy; do not offend the right of way boat! Too often we have witnessed, a...

Call me at 615-336-7900; leave your name and number if I don't answer. I have a great deal of experience now with rudders on S2 7.9; too much to discuss by email.

Each shroud t-ball end fitting is held in-place in the mast aby a neoprene stopper. Any idea where to get replacements?
