S2 7.9 Meter Class Association

It is hull number 476, stored outside, on a cradle, in MI.
The area within a 1/2 inch of the crack seems damaged by water.

Has anyone added adjustable genoa lead cars to their 7.9? Was it worth it?
I race alot of JAM and am thinking adjusting the head sail becomes even more important.

31 k sounds very high bought my 1986 in Sept 2003 for 18 k without trailer and some people thought that was high.
