Scott,
Is PHRF NW allowing you to raise your centerboard? I was under the impression that they have said no.
Thanks,
Kevin Timoney

Re: Centerboard box
There is a stainless steel plate glassed in underneath the mast step that is drilled and tapped that the mast step bolts thread into. No nuts to fall inside!

Re: Movement of upper shroud thru spreader tip
My shrouds easily slide through the spreader tips. There is about 1/16 clearance all around. So this should be tight?

Re: Mast Step Bolt
Hi, My ( hull # 132 ) boat uses a 3/8" bolt for the pivot pin. 5/16 is very sloppy in the mast base hole and the slot in the step

fairing the daggerboard
Has anyone faired their own dagger board? If so, how much work was it and did you actually have to get into the lead? Anyone use Compukeel templates?
Thanks,
Kevin

Keel lift purchase
Ive seen several referances to a 4:1 purchase for lifting the board, but haven't seen exactly how to do it. Anyone have a diagram or parts list? I saw one post where someone said they drilled a hole in the top plate and terminated the line with a stopper knot. Has anyone else done that? Thanks, Kevin

Mast Pre Bend
I have hull #132 and am unable to get any pre bend using the Boston tuning gude numbers. The mast is actually inverted 1/2". Is this common or do I have a problem. The mast has not been replaced at least in the last 14 years.
Thanks,
Kevin

spreader brackets
Just lowered the mast and found all the all the rivets loose on the spreader bracket. I have hull # 132. The bracket wraps around the mast and has 4 rivets on each side. I found a reference to a bracket with 8 rivets per side in the old forum. Is this the same bracket with less holes or is there a n...

I'd like a CD with pics of the NE. Email me at sj24 AT icehouse.net and I'll give you my address. I'd be happy to pay for it.
