Leaving Mast Up in Winter

Hola Amigos!

Any downside to leaving mast up/rigged during the Winter? Stored outdoors in Michigan. Don't mean to appear too lazy....just practical!!

Hi Doug,

From what I know, this semi circular mast base, that allows the mast to pivot and takes the Frankenstein bolt, is not a stock part. This being said, I think a machine shop is your best bet. I live in Southeast Michigan, and we have LOTS of machine shops!!
