I have never seen a picture of what it looks like under the floor, but if you cut a way enough floor, can you also cut out the weight, do the repair and replace it all again? Jeff

Another option, I had my body shop paint the mast and boom. I did the sanding, not all the way down, just to smooth out some of the bad spots. I bought the paint and prep paint they recommended, and they sprayed the mast and boom for me.

Best to find out where the water is coming from! These boats should be dry. If water is only in the bilge area then this could be a small leak in a through hull, or if the V berth cushions are wet then, it could be bow stanchions, running lights or front hatch may be leaking. Good luck!! Jeff
