Wow, and don't take this the wrong way cause your work looks fantastic... But WHY on earth did you decide to buy one of these and do THIS much work to it? This is the boat #497 from NJ that you had an offer on and ended up not buying. Any idea why the keel would not go up all the way? It had so man...

You really need an outboard to be competitive in class events. It is more the drag in light air. I have a 6hp Nissan already so all I need is the motor mount. I did this conversion on Hull 22 a few years back. It's a winter project should be done after the first of the year.

I have purchased 497 which has an inboard which I will be removing, so I will have parts. I will also be selling the inboard which is a Yanmar 1 cylinder that operates fine.

Anyone need crew for Sarasota? I am looking to get out of this weather for a few days. I can do anything but you probably would not want me on the bow. I have a lot of experience on 7.9's

Money Shot is making the trip again this year along with the motorhome. We'll be registered soon.

We are staying in our RV at Bayview YC along with the boat. If the class is planinng some get together at Cresent, please let us know and we will try to attend.
