S2 7.9 Meter Class Association

I think the genoa cars are OK as above. The life lines may be OK as long as they are not Melges 24 type hiking. What are the "other mod's" ?

You will have to change the bunks to match the shape of the hull. If the trailer was made for a power boat you will need to move the axles forward, so I would look for a trailer with movable axles.

We will be selling an old 7.9 trailer in the spring.

"Instigator" is planning to be there. I think a good estimate would be $5000 cost for entry , room , Food , docking , Beer for 7 days!!

I also talked to Jen at Sailing World and she told me that she would wave the $50 late fee for the next 7.9 to sign up.

We just need one more boat!!

The 7.9 is my first pick but if we can't get 8 boats, the J-35 is my second.

Instigator #212 from Michigan would be willing to make the trip East if we get a start. I think someone from the area should contact Sailing World and get the S2 7.9 on their list of classes.

I see that Sailing World has the 2007 St Pete NOOD dates listed as Feb. 16,17,18. This has been a great winter regatta that everone can enjoy for about 1/10 the cost of Key West. Who is planning to go in 2007?
