S2 7.9 Meter Class Association

Sadly, Peregrine will not be attending this year, so our streak of consecutive Annapolis NOODs will end at 9. Fully expect to be back next year though. I do love the regatta, the venue, the timing , and of course the crabs!

Attached is a picture of my rudder after breaking. Mine broke at the bottom of the cheekplates, presumably due to excessive pressure in big chop plus 30 years of age. This picture give a great cross-section view of the inside of the rudder.

The rudder snapped on Peregrine, #395 last night. Anyone know where I can get a replacement, new or used? The pintles/gudgeons/cheekplates/tiller are all fine, just the rudder itself broke.

Annapolis S2 Fleet: The Friday night cocktail party is on!
