That is correct, the engine mounts are just blocks of cedar and plywood laminated to the floor of the engine compartment with some heavy glass. They do not extend outside of the engine compartment. What kind of self tailing winches do you have? In the Harkens there is a large flat bladed screw in the winch handle socket that needs to come out first, then after pulling a few parts you need to remove some allen screws to get the whole winch apart. Send the prop into Martec and let them do it for you. Mine came back looking like new, polished, re balanced, re-bored with an oversized pin. I also had them send me extra cotter pins, a key and a bullet zinc for the shaft. (Do NOT use off-the-shelf stainless pins to put the prop back together). The...
