I was just killing a little time looking at Island Packets and stumbled across this "S2 8.0", which I figure is probably really a 7.9.

No I think this is the 8.0 . A cruising sailboat that S2 built. The 7.9 draft is 5.0' not 4.0' and the beam is 9' not 8'. The 7.9 sleeps 4 not 5 and did not have a saildrive.
