Trailer Preference

Post by Jim Brinkman »

I am in the market for a trailer and would like to hear opinions on trailer options: bunk vs. roller, aluminum vs. galvanized, brand preferences, etc. Thanks for your input.

for the 7.9 bunks for sure, better support, but there should be a bow roller or stop and one roller about 2-3 feet back on the bottom, go with galvinized for sure unless you get a good deal on an alumium one, if your in salt water and launch every time think about a stainless steel bolt kit and SS disk brakes with a flush kit, extra $ but well worth it, as for brands, if it looks well built probably is, check with some of your local trailer distributers first see what they have to offer, if you need any measurments I have an original EZ loader and would be happy to provide them, a plank up the middle just over the axles to let the keel down is a must, and LED lighting is also well worth the extra $
