There were 4 SE's built for the 1985 MORC Nationals in Detroit. 3 showed up and race, they were Ariba Ariba, Little Feat and Miss Grace. A2 and Little Feat were sister ships built slightly different then the other two. A2 got destroyed in a hurricane, not sure where MG ended up and Little Feat is still in Holland in storage and could be bought. The boat that I think you all are talking about was one that never showed up on the Int, scene and was originally sailed by Bower, (I think).

Rugger was a standard FK/MH boat that was then changed to Hendo keel and rudder like John S says. The standard FK/MH boat is not faster then a standard 7.9 when the breeze is on, the keel was too light for the extra horse power, something the SE's and Rugger took care of in different ways.

If you wanted a great PHRF boat, you would buy Little Feat and put the Hendo keel rudder on it like Rugger did!
