Since there is no S2 6.9 forum, I am appealing to 7.9 owners for help. My keel is split from tip to almost top. Does anyone know of a 6.9 keel - used or new? Any quick help is appreciated. Racing season starts soon.
PS I have friends who own 7.9s.

You might try and call Marc Crutcher at Unbridled Sailing. He has rehabbed a lot of S2s including 7.9s and 6.7s. IIRC the 6.7 and 6.9 share keels but I might be off on that.
When I had my 7.9 keel repaired the fellow that did looked into shipping it out. He said that the keel could be shipped on a pallet and sent freight. So, you might (for example) be able to ship it o Marc for remote rehabilitation, get it shipped back as freight. Just a thought.
