Saturday was a very interesting day.Bob and I had just had a trailer built for Hunting Party #448.I mean just,we took delivery of it Thurs. We had to put bunks on it and also wire it.
We are going to Lake Norman! We will be the boat with not paint on the trailer.
Saturday afternoon we went down to place the boat on the trailer. It had been on jackstands for the winter.Spike Boston met us and worked with us while we adjusted the beds ,lifted the boat and readjusted the beds.It was not a very nice day out.We just finished after three very cold hours when a nor-easter blew in from Lake Huron. Spike's invaluable information and enthusiasm went far beyond trying to sell sails.Bob and I would like to thank Spike for all of his help.Alice also came down to offer her support and advice.
Bob and I took note of something special from the first time we bummed a ride on a Slam at Lake Norman four years ago.The willingness of all the people we have met that freely offer their help to anybody that asked.
That is one reason we decided to buy a Slam.Oh,it is a great boat also.
THANKS SPIKE!
above and beyond.
