From news reports and the family, I have learned that Skip Boston has passed away this morning. Our condolences to the family.

Skip Boston was the very first S2 7.9 class champion. But first and foremost he was a terrific guy.
Our sport, our class, and Great Lakes sailors in particular are poorer for his passing.
On behalf of all S2 7.9 class members past and present, we extend our sincere sympathies to the entire Boston family.
