S2 7.9 Meter Class Association

I am just curious - I used to own hull #64, (boat name at the time was Slapshot, was also sail no. 64), and I was just wondering if it is still around, or if anyone has seen it. It went from me to Davis Island, and from there to Sarasota, but that was in the mid-late 90's.

Anyone know if it is still around, and what happened to it?

Hello Racer X, Slapshot is down in Charlotte Harbor. She survived Hurricane Charley and has been racing as recently as the end of last year. I heard a rumor she may be for sale again. Google the Punta Gorda Sail Club for the web site and check the race results last year. I think the guy that has her travels north in the summer so she isn't around much in the heat. Adios
