Here are the dates, and some information, on the 2006 S-2 7.9 CCR.

THE 2006 S-2 7.9 CCR’s is planned for AUGUST 22-26, 2006 AT THE MACATAWA BAY YACHT CLUB HOLLAND, MI.

* Registration Tue 8/22 and Wed 8/23
* There will be a practice race Wed 8/23 late afternoon
* Racing will begin Th 8/24 and continue through Sat 8/26

*Pool facilities will be open for family members for the week of the Regatta.
*Registration will begin Wednesday morning at 9:00AM and go to 3:00PM in the Commodores Room.
*MBYC expects about 8-9 boats will be weighed by a crane brought in from the outside on Wednesday.
*Sails need to be measured in the Junior Yacht Club Wednesday only.
*Thursday, 9:00AM skippers meeting followed by 3 races and a keg on the lawn.
*Thursday night, The Annual S-2 7.9 meeting in the Commodores Room from 6:00PM-7:00PM followed by a pizza party done by the Club, or by the Class Assoc and a second keg.
*Friday, three races followed by a keg and an open evening for the skippers & crews to enjoy the Club or other dinning facilities in the area.
*Saturday, 2 races followed by a keg and a sit down awards dinner at 7:00PM. Awards will be given out at 8:00PM.
*Sunday, a day to reflect as many of you will be heading home.
