I once had a very similar view of the M&M (aka Mesabi Miner) a 1000' bulk freighter on the St. Clair River during a club night race. Surfed off of its wake, mucho fun.

we were in chase of a simmilar 1000' tanker last year on lake SC and then out of no whear my FBG took the only winch handle below deck and crashed out for the night
