When I brought my 7.9 to the Caribbean in August, I'd hoped that my regular crew would join me to race in the St. Croix regatta, but they're all claiming poverty, lack of vacation time, etc, and I will have to sit the race out unless I can find 3-4 crew. Anybody interested? We can provide accomodations, but you'd have to pay your other expenses. I'd be willing to share the first place prize -- the skipper's weight in Cruzan rum (and I'm no lightweight). That may be hubris, since I'm always at the back of the fleet at the CCR, but an Olsen 30 won the thing last year. Check out the notice of race at www.stcroixyc.com. If you're interested, email me at jdkboats45@yahoo.com. St Croix is a lovely island, better known for its diving than sailing, but this should be a great event.

Hey Jim
FEB 19 - 21 looks great! I'll trailer my boat over and ........oh wait a minute, you mean the island near Puerto Rico, not the river valley near St Paul. UH, sorry the trailer won't make it.
Might be there in March though, without the boat.
