Rebel's coming to Naptown!!!!!! Beer pressure works. Woo hoo! See you in a couple of weeks.

Additionally, tomorow is the last day to enter without late fees.

John - sorry been away from the forum. E-mail sent about dockage. To be redundant here's a copy

City Dock is $2.00 per foot / per night
AYC - As in past years AYC might be available when you show up with your boat

Below is the message that we received from President's Point. The Marina is a 10 minute motor inside the bridge, between Truxton Park and AYC.

We would be happy to try and accommodate your guests for the NOOD races later this month. The guest fee is $ 30.00 per night regardless of boat size. I would prefer that this be paid in advance so we are not running around trying to catch up with folks plus I travel often and I’m not always around..

Those interested should send a check ASAP for the number of nights they intend to stay X $30.00. Checks should be payable to The Point Condominium Association and mailed to me at :

NOOD Attendees
We would like to welcome everyone to the Annapolis NOODs with a BBQ Thursday evening at our crew's house in Eastport. The thought is to gather sometime after 6:00 to meet the newbies, recap past years, tell lies, and discuss which weather forecast isn't going to be wrong. Do you think that you and (or?) your crew would be able to attend on Thursday? Obviously your plans are subject to change, but a rough head count will improve our planning tremendously. Please RSVP via e-mail to Bob.
(Details to follow later)

Thanks!

Lisa;
I know this part of the crew of RELENTLESS would be honoured to attend the soiree.
I will be talking to the other guys before we leave on wed.and will try to let you know before then.I am assuming that they would be interested in telling lies and bonding with the S2 crowd.

Many thanks to the Fleck's and Cat for their hospitality. Bob, thanks for the tip on the docking at the condo complex, it was top notch. The class had a great time. Hey, who rigged the raffle at the awards presentation??? Did anybody on Horizon not get anything in the raffle???
I think the fix was in. Thanks again to the Fleck's, and enjoy your travelling around the country.

Thanks guys, glad you had a good time. Also, thanks for everyone who made the ECC (East Coast Championship) a huge success.

Congrats to Rebel, Robin and Rooster Tail for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes. It was great to see first timers as well as repeat boats on the water having a great weekend. It doesn't get much better than the 8 races we got in (unless I placed better). Thanks also to AYC's Race Committee who was superb.

"Pics or it didn't happen"??? El Capitan, surely you jest. All evidence was destroyed immediately. Honestly, we didn't bring any cameras for the weekend, but I'll try to hunt down some pics to post.

Since we didn't win any hardware Sailing World must have felt bad for Team Horizon. We bagged 4 of the 5 raffles (Greg was left goodieless) by using a raffle secret from another 7.9'er. If anyone wanted a Mt Gay hat but didn't get one, let me know. We snagged a couple extra.

Misfit would like to thank all who helped to make my first S2 7.9 regatta a success. Got some bruises, inflicted some and asked for a lot of advice. Interested in who might be going to Marblehead. Thanks again for a great introduction to the class.

Peregrine had a great time in Annapolis and we'll be back again next year. Congrats to the top finishers - you guys are all extremely fast.

We really enjoyed the racing on Sunday when the wind picked up. We'd love to see all of you come to Marblehead NOOD this year and race in our home waters.

Regards,
Scott
