Hey Relentless- I see your headed to Chicago NOOD. Is Detroit in the cards? Would love to see you guys there. I hope Jeff is feeling better now than he was in Annapolis.

Calling Prime Time and Robyn- are you in for Detroit?

Rumor had it that you were interested if the S2's had a start. Would love to see you there as well!

I confirmed with Dave Grover yesterday that Prime Time will be there (with my wife and I as crew), so we can count on at least 6 boats. They have his application, but still need his US Sailing #, so it isn't posted on the entries list yet.

I might not have my boat in the water by then, as there's a fair amount of work to do on it yet this spring (it sat idle the last 5 years before we purchased it last fall). If it's not in by then, I'll gladly loan my slip at CSYC to any out of town 7.9 for the regatta.

That is great news! Let's keep the ball rolling and get a few more boats!

Here's an idea- why don't we set up a little party at the club where the boats are being launched in the late afternoon. I'm sure there would be a grill avaialbe for dogs/burgers. Is there a fleet member who sails out of this club?

It looks like Rebel and Magic are planning on putting in and staying at CSYC. Dave and I (and a few other non-racing 7.9's) sail out of there. Grills, tables, etc. are not a problem - we do that sort of thing every week after Sunday races.

Good luck to all;
Sadly I won't make it. Boat is half torn down for some needed refit and my employer (Imlay City Schools) decided to cut a week off the school year. Natually, graduations, bachaloriates, other ceremonies got pushed up a week. Guess where I'll be that weekend.

Hi all-
I'm working on securing a "welcome to" CSYC for launching/docking and will report back with my findings. I just emailed a note to a club member.

It looks like some boats are already set and space is getting short. Who is in need of launch/dock? Chime in.

For everybody coming to CSYC on Thursday, the person coordinating things there will be Kevin O'Brien. He'll be there all day, and you'll need to find him when you get there. We have 4 7.9's, and about a dozen other boats coming in to get setup and launched. He will be handling where boats go to get rigged, what order they're launched in, where the trailers will go, and where boats will go in the harbor.

I will also be there after work, and can lend a hand to whoever needs it.

Many thanks to the CSYC folks for their hospitality and hard work of getting the boats in/out! This was an outstanding location to be docked at for the regatta. All your help was greatly appreciated!

Thanks agian!
