Detroit NOODs dates

Post by grandillusion »

I'm probably not the first to notice, but the dates for Detroit NOOD and the Mills Cup are the same, one will likely be moved

Dates for the Detroit NOOD are June 4 - 6, 2010.
Who can we count on to be on the starting line in Detroit??
Dave Grover from Prime Time has e-mailed me and confirmed he will be there, Rebel will be there too.
Let's get the ball rolling now.

We are now up to 4 boats for Detroit, this is a good start. With all the boats that are in the near vicinity to the Detroit area, lets see if we can get over 10 boats on the starting line. Grand Illusion are you planning on coming?? I know that Frequent Flyer will be attending and so will Dave Grover with Prime Time. Hopefully I can persuade a few more boats to make the trip down the river from the great white north (eh), how about some of the owners from downriver, Grosse Ile and Sandusky?????

Anybody else coming to Detroit?? To avoid late regestration you need to register by May 17th. Come on out and go sailing, summer is finally here. Break the boats out of dry dock, take the day off work, and go racing. Come on class!!!!

Congrats to the Grovers and the Prime Time crew on a very well sailed regatta. They were very consistent all weekend and very fast in all conditions. Also, I would like to thank the entire crew from Relentless for towing us back across the lake and into Crescent Sail Club after our rudder snapped in half this morning. This was truly a very honorable act, and I want to thank you guys again.

As part of the Prime Time crew, thanks John. We were truly disappointed you couldn't sail at all yesterday, and that we didn't have Relentless out there for the first race. It's never good to see your competition heading in before racing has started for the day.

Everybody out there seemed pretty fast to us at times. Blackbeard and Flyer really had it going on speed wise in the lumpy stuff yesterday, I think we just hit more of the pressure and shifts.
