MORC INTERNATIONALS

Post by Wined-up Toy »

Station 15 and Eastport Yacht Club will be hosting the 2004 MORC Internationals July 30-August 1. This is the 50th anniversary of the formation of MORC and we plan on pulling out all of the stops to make this a fun event. We expect to have a good group of 7.9s. If there are enough boats, we will have a sub-class for 7.9s. Don't worry if you are not a MORC member or do not have a rating for your boat. We will give you a stock rating (you are welcome to be measured as well, but you will need to contact me if you want to do that). You can also sign up for MORC when you arrive. Our goal is to make this regatta as easy as possible for people to do. We will be posting details on this regatta on www.morc.org. If you have any questions, please contact me at gtmrob@aol.com or gpr@hbdlaw.com. We hope to see you all in July.

Please note that the $50.00 entry fee for the MORC Internationals will go up to $100.00 after July 1, 2004. If you want to take advantage of the discount, please get your entry in ASAP. Entry forms and additional information is available at www.morc.org. Finally, the NOR indicates that we will offer one design sub classes. Therefore, you can compete for MORC overall, MORC "C" and 7.9 one design, not a bad deal for $50.00.[/url]
