The 2010 Charlotte Harbor Regatta is Feb 4 - 7th, featuring one - design classes including the Sunfish, Hobie 16, Weta trimaran, Flying Scot, Melges 24, Viper 640, S2 7.9 and Precision 15. Charlotte Harbor has a strong group of local S2's to form the foundation of a quality, competitive field. The Charlotte Harbor Regatta race committee has been working closely with the S2 class association to attract an impressive fleet from around the country to this event, which is being held the weekend before the St. Pete NOOD and could serve as a tune-up race for that important class event. If you register before Dec. 31, 2009, you'll be eligible for a drawing for a three-night hotel stay. Join the strong S2 7.9 class expected to participate in this event on a SAIL magazine "top 10 greatest places to sail in the United States" harbor.
