Announcing Event in Alexandria Virginia

June 11/12 is the Geico Cup Regatta run by the Daingerfield Island Sailing Club (DISCSailing.org) racing in the Potomac River. DISC has four actively raced 7.9s out of the Washington Sailing Marina (WSM) and a fleet of MORC boats with ratings from 168 to 180. We invite the 7.9s to join us for a weekend of tight racing. WSM is providing free docking for visiting racers and Geico is sponsoring the event with trophies and swag. DC is a great place to visit in June. Spring racing has been excellent with lots of wind and plenty of boats on the line. We have plenty of experience with S2s and find they adapt very well to our home waters.
