Nashville Equalizer Regatta October 16 & 17
Can we get a show of hands of the boats going down to Nashville October 16 & 17 for the annual Equalizer Regatta. Nashville is home for a number of 7.9's including Itch, Thriller, Beat It, and others. Our very own Dr. Paul Latour is the Regatta Chairman for the event. More info can be found at http://www.ppyc.org/racing/regattas.htm#Equalizer. This is always a well attended event for the class, for many the last regatta of the season.
Let's make it a good turn out again.

Raised By Wolves is working on it. It is easier to get a day off work than a couple kids out of school nowadays.

GREAT RATE AT BEST WESTERN. There is a internet only rate available for the Best Western just down the road from PPYC. The rate is $42 for Thursday and $50 for Friday and Saturday. It ends up being $173 with taxes. Still paying for the TVA I guess. The only catch with the internet rate is you have to pay right away, but can cancel up to 7 days ahead of time. For $25 more you can just reserve the room and cancel before 4pm the day of.

The crew of Raised By Wolves would like to extend our warmest appreciation for the sailing and hospitality we enjoyed this past weekend at PPYC in Nashville. Paul Latour and his lovely wife Dana not only organized and executed a terrific event but served the S2 7.9 fleet some of the best gumbo I have ever tasted. This event should be on your list of "must go to" regattas. Thank you!

Thanks!
Judging from only four races and scores all over the place it looks like it may have been light and shifty, as in high pressure close by.

Thank you Dana and Paul;
A first class ,as always from the two of you, extravaganzy!
The equailizer regatta has always provided a variety of sailing and non sailing challenges.
I am speaking only for myself, but It is on my calendar.
My fall calendar, Don't change it. Unless you have to.
I missed haveing the 500's out there.You know why!
Goood Fishing to you!
