St. Pete NOOD and Sarasota One Design Regattas 2014

Post by John Spierling »

The 2014 season is just around the corner. Who is planning on attending St. Pete NOOD and Sarasota One Design Regattas? One or both? Rebel 496 is planning on attending both. Dates for the regattas are on the home page. Boat storage for the period of time between the regattas can be arranged through Travis Yates (Indigo).

Working to get a new 7.9 program to their first S2 7.9 regatta. About 95% there. Will post when final. Looking forward to St Pete once again.

Danger Zone is a possible for Sarasota. Is it probable that we'll get our own line?

There are now six boats registered, which guarantees a class. There is a line in the NOR about possibly needing 12 to have your own start. Hopefully that is not the case and we will have our own start.

Chris and John;
I have tried to logon the Sarasota website to register for Sarasota and also the regatta network site with no success.
I only saw one escow pre registered.
I need to know if it is a go because I don't want to haul my boat all the way to florida for nothing. Also I have crew that has said they already booked flights.
Guts.

Cheeky Monkey 434 is attending. All logistics are final, just getting the boat the boat prepped.

(we are the new 7.9 program that horizon484 mentions)

Anyone need crew for Sarasota? I am looking to get out of this weather for a few days. I can do anything but you probably would not want me on the bow. I have a lot of experience on 7.9's
