Storage
Found a good place in Ft.Laurdale, next to I-95. Looking for the name of the place in St.Pete.
The ramp is next to St. Pete Yacht Club, in the same harbor. Not an issue.
Always used priceline.com for the hotel room. Advise, get it NOW, as places tend to fill up

rooms going fast
I just made my calls. Rooms are going fast. The Ponce de Leon, and Hampton Inn are full.
Here's a link to the SPYC website for local accomodations:

Ramp and dockage ( raft-up style) are at the St Pete Sailing Center/St Pete YC. FREE. Obviously the ramp is busy Sunday for the pull-out. If they haven't added any power lines, you can pull your boat to the remote lot with the rig up and avoid the traffic jam at the sailing center on Sunday.
