What are the dates for the CCR in August? I'm sure they were posted on the old bulletin board. Sigh. (I don't believe in emoticons).

championship results
What are the chances of the CCR results being posted on a daily basis? (what are the chances of this being read by someone at the CCR before they return home?) Or perhaps on the M&M YC website?
Menominee results
Would still love to see the results from Menominee-- anyone gonna post 'em? (I know, I know-- if you want the results, show up and race! we'll be there next year.)
CCR
I remember Spike Boston and Frequent Flyer won first place in the gold fleet and the winning time for the 'drink a shot of tequila and winch the centerboard up' contest was 14 seconds. (No I didn't participate - I hate tequila!)
It was a Fun time - You should definitedly be there next year!

As Jill said it was a very fun regatta! Great racing (31 boats competing), great weather, great venue (the boaters lounge was incredible!) and great social functions!!
Jeff Bonvallet, Leo Loeb, Scott Hornick and everyone else who helped out at M & M Yacht Club should be comended for a fantastic regatta held in a wonderful location.
For those who have never taken part in a Class Championship Regatta make your plans to attend next year!
I agree that the results need to be posted on the forum and the web page as soon as possible (I was there and I can't even remember my finishes in each race). Also the results have never been posted for the 2001 and 2002 CCR on the web page either (why not?). 31 boats this year, 29 last year, let's get the results on there to show what a great class this is!!
While I'm at it we also need a direct link from this forum to the class web page (If there's one there I can't find it?).
Hope to see everyone next year!!

All,
I noticed the meniton of a "Silver" fleet in the CCR results. This is a great idea, is it new?? Although my wife and I have several years of racing experience, we've only owned our first boat (the 7.9) for 2 years now, and all of our crew have never sailed prior to us bringing them out on our boat. The silver fleet would help us convince ourselves that we could come and compete in the one-design racing.
Please let me know the future plans of silver fleets in the class regattas.
Thanks,
Jason
Hi Jason. Silver fleet is not new, but is now happily included in the class rules under "Awards" in the Class Championship Regatta.
The first big regatta is always a bit daunting, but there are folks with all levels of experience who compete in our events. I thinks you'll find everyone quite helpful as well. And Racine is quite a central location....
