2006 St. Petersburg NOOD

Post by bernoulli »

I see that SPYC has the 2006 NOOD dates listed as Feb. 17,18,19. Last year we had 12 boats racing in sunny and 75 degree weather, for all three days. Who is planning to go in 2006?

Rebel is planning the trip. I know Frequent Flyer is planning on attending also.

Don't forget the early date for the St Pete NOOD is January 31. 50 bucks extra after that. Thats 3-4 cases of beer or a couple 'jugs' of Mount Gay. We have 6 boats already registered and I KNOW that there are others who are heading south. You can register painlessly online but the credit card transaction is not secure. I just make a note for Jennifer to give me a call for a CC number when I register online.

Anyone know if Mistress is planning to join us?

I may know of an extra room at 'the Ponce'. Sound out if interested.

p.s. Go Steelers!

What's going on with entries to St. Pete??? There are still only 6 boats registered. Who else plans on racing, get your registrations in. In my opinion, this is the best run NOOD regatta ON the water and OFF. Plus it will be 70 degrees!!! I would hope that we could double our fleet size before registration ends.

I heard that Robyn just entered. Frequent Flyer and Mistress would put us at 9. . .

Fridged 7.9'ers,

Currently we have 8 boats for the St Pete NOOD. Although 'normal' registration has passed I'm pretty sure you can still enter since we already have a class. We can do better than 8. Aren't you guys tired of winter up north? Join us down south.

***I've got a half gallon of Mt Gay rum for the next 7.9 who enters.***

See you in St Pete.

Hey Bob
What a great offer!
MAN do I wish I collect on it from you, but the triangle from Denver to Minneapolis to St. Pete doesn't quite work right now. Maybe I'll see you in Annapolis.
Have a TERRIFIC time in FL!
Best wishes,
Tom
