North Star Fall Regatta

Post by Tom Line »

Ok guys. Let's get 5 boats to committ to the North Star Anchor Bay Fall Series so that we can get a class start.

I'll be there on Grrr...

You can find the information at:

http://www.northstarsail.org/public_htm ... /index.htm

This is truly fun sailing. Docking is FREE. The wind is beautiful this time of year. 6 races over 4 days (all weekend days). The race course is about a 10 minute motor from the club as well. There are flags for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for EVERY race, along with overall awards, and on the Howard Boston Memorial Day you'll get your named engraved on Perpetual Trophies that go in NSSC's trophy case.

Launch facilities are at the end of South River Road. $4 to use the DNR's excellent Launch Ramps. If you want to put your mast up shorthanded, get hold of me and I'll get down there and unlock the Gin-pole and lend you a hand.

Seriously - let's get at least 5 boats out there and have some exciting competition.

Tom,
I do believe that the Rebel will sail every day that it doesn't snow.

REBEL is registered. How many more 7.9's are coming??? Prime Time, Habenero, Wind Dog, Relentless, this is a local series. Anybody else sailing??? NSSC puts on a great series. Lets get enough 7.9's so we can have a one-design start and we won't have to race PHRF.
