Cabin top logo replacement options

Post by Wineduptoy »

I just purchased Wined up toy hull #98. I would like to do some restoration. I would like to get my hands on the cabin top logo s2 Grand Slam. Does anyone know of any place to replace the final letters and Silver grand slam?

If all else fails, try taking a close-up digital photo of the existing logo. Most decal shops can convert this to a vector file and laser cut a new decal from vinyl or similar material.

Winduptoy, please advise on how you made out. I would like to do the same thing. There was a posting somewhere here regarding this exact subject, the person had them made and mentioned that the vinyl cutter had it stored in his computer for future orders. I can't find it anywhere.

Since I didn't have any responses I played a long shot and contacted S2. They had the 2" x 2" S2 logo for the cabin and that sharp looking "GRANDSLAM". Very reasonable I might add.
They also had those white caps that cover the nuts inside the cabin, I think someone had inquired about them previously. They came in 3/8" and 7/16", since the boat is covered and didn't know the size I bought 100 of each at .03 cents ea.
