MAST SECURING WHILE TRAILERING
New S2 7.9 owner...will be trailering boat from Annapolis to NE PA. How do I SECURE MAST while trailering?

See attached (if I can attach a photo). The support in the back attaches just like the rudder, angle iron with holes attached to the 2X6 work great. The middle support goes in the mast step. The one on the front rests on the bow pulpit. Ratchet tie-downs attached to the toe rail secure the mast. Shrouds, stays, halyards, etc. should be tied to the mast in several places. Probably best to remove ladder and windex before hitting the road .

Thanks for photo and reply. Aft I have a full rail, so seeing your support, it gives me an idea to distribute weight across. Do you rest mast on top of bow pulpit or hang in sling from pulpit?
