Cat 25 rudder

Have any of you ever put a Catalina 25 rudder on your 7.9 and sailed around with it? Just curious. I know it's not 1-design compliant.

I can pick up a used one for almost nothing, which is why I ask. It might make a really good emergency rudder for ocean races.
