Could someone confirm how much play they have at the gooseneck/boom connection? Mine seems looser than I would expect, and I've noticed some minor wear. Does anyone use shims?

Mine has a lot of play too.
Putting plastic washers / shims to settle it down has been on my to do list for a long time.
