Companionway Hatch Seal

I'm about to install my new hatch. There is some kind of seal on the front end, attached to the fiberglass and the hatch slides on it. Mine is pretty beat up, any suggestions on what to use for replacement?

Hi Stef, I have used plastic weather stripping that has a adhesive on one side. Cut peal and stick...has worked for 5 years. Jeff, Skyhawk #250
