Depth transducer

Can't find a "solid" spot on hull #231 to shoot thru with inboard depth transducer (did find in hull 544). Anybody know if older boats built with that spot in mind by S2, and if so, where is it? Anybody ground-down to outer FG skin to plant a transducer? If so, I want to talk with you.

I have hull #122 and have a transducer mounted in silicon. Maybe I can take some measurements and a picture tomorrow. It's bloody cold up here in Canada.

Should be solid directly in front of the keel box. I've got mine mounted there using (don't laugh) toilet bowl wax, works great. Mine is hull #82.
