Dry storage without a trailer

Post by Southern Gales »

I'm close to purchasing an S279 but do not have the budget to purchase a trailer or put her in a slip just yet. I can rent a roller trailer and roll it onto supports to store it and work on the side of the house. Does anyone know of another method for storing "on the hard" without using a crane and boat stands? The board also needs to be pulled and damage repaired.
Does anyone know of a cheap trailer option to pull the S2 about 120 miles over flat land?
Thanks!

I've seen boats in marinas/yards sitting on large (2 ft X 2ft) Styrofoam blocks. Should be cheap and no damage to your boat.

Thank you Pete. I forgot about that solution. It's a good one.
