Best paint for lift keel

I'm doing some minor repairs on my keel and will need to repaint it.
I had previously painted with Iterlux VC Performance Epoxy bottom paint.
It does have a slick and hard surface, but not great antifouling for my fresh water wet sailed boat.
What other options does the class use on your keels and how is the performance?

I would do what you did before then apply VC 17 on the keel. Best of both worlds. Also do you lift the board when at the dock? That is another good way to keep most of the board clean.
