Barient Winch Parts

My boat is equipped with Barient 19ST winches and I found the springs broken in one of them. I have tried to find replacement springs to no avail. If anyone knows a souce for these springs I would appreciate your help.

Thus far I ordered a Barient repair kit from Boat US - manufactured by Lewmar - No Good the springs were too large in diameter.

I also contacted my cousin in Australia who called the Australian Winch company and they said the springs ere not available.

I am looking for a Jury Rig solution at this point.
