doesn't seem to be working. I bought the boat used some time ago. As I look at the wiring it looks like someone bypassed the charging system on purpose. I'm looking at my owners manual for the engine, it looks like I have to pull the engine apart to replace the Stator (???) if it isn't just the wiring. Insight any one? I have found out the hard way that I'm the best mechanic for this thing in my area but I'm trailorable to Milwaukee or (darn it, if I have to ) Chicago.BMW 7

I replaced my Stator 2 years ago and it did not help in charging my battery.
I just gave up on charging and once a year remove my battery and charge it up.
