Mast Specs

Post by dopierce »

Does anybody have specifications on the replacement mast? I need new standing rigging and want to get it right. I'm especially concerned how far up the mast the slot is for the upper stays.

Hey everyone

I need a couple of people to take this measurement for Dave.

If you have access to your boat, would you please measure the exact distance from the base of the mast extrusion (that is, the bottom end of the tube not the bottom end of the half moon fitting) up to the male portion of the fitting of the spreader bracket (not the collar, the fitting on the collar).
Best wishes,
Tom

...actually I need the measurement to the point well above the spreaders, about 3' down from the top, where the upper stay attaches to the mast. There is a elongiated hole there for the T-fitting on the stay to slide into.

Thanks!
Dave
