I had a Kirby 25 many many moons ago, we used to lift it 4 point from stantion bases.

Has any one lifted from a 4 point off the toe rail

Somwhere in the old posts at http://www.boatsit.com/discus/messages/106/106.html, is a message from someone who successfully lifted their boat from the shroud chainplates and the toe rail. Keep in mind that the toe rail is screwed, not bolted to the hull - multiple attachment points to the rail on each side would be a real good idea. Also that the center of gravity of the boat is ~10" forward of the companionway bulkhead, not through the keel as one might assume.
