Hoists

Post by fleck »

Anyone keep their 7.9 on a hydrohoist (floating hoist with air tanks)? Anybody have any issues with keeping the 7.9 on hoists of any kind? I remember seeing 7.9s on hoists in Holland, MI and was wondering if stability is an issue, and do you keep the keel up or down. If I go with a hydrohoist, I would want to keep the boat as low as possible and keep the board up out of the water. Ideas?

Bob,
The Padnos brothers (Jeff & Doug) keep #432 K2 on a lift at MBYC in Holland. They crank the board up and she rides on bunks alot like on the trailer.

Thanks Boz. Anyone ever see one on a floating hydrohoist?

Bob, I assume you've checked the required depth. It's more than you think.
HH has a model that works with floating docks, is that what you mean?
My brother in law has a ski boat on one like that. Works great.
Best wishes,
Tom
