Hello;
Doyle Boston has published an excellant tuning guide.If you look further down the tips you will see a reference to it. I think there is a link to hot tomale racing that has it on their web page . Or contact Doyle Boston Directly.

Saw that, its for tuning using the regular loos gage. The numbers don't match up to the professional gage.

Thanks, Greg :|

I have never looked for the numbers on a Loos Prof. What I might be able to remember to do is set up our rig, find another boat that has a Prof gauge, check and record the numbers.

You guys may be trying to make a simple job difficult here: It's not the number that counts, only the actual load in lbs that's being put on the cable!

Just look at the pound column to the right of the numbers on the regular gauge and the same column on the professional.......................... look to the left of the matching poundage and you will have the "number" conversion. :wink:

Hey Guys

I think that we have the wrong tuning gauge in there. I know we actually use the black Loos deal which is the pro version I think. We will have to change the type o
