Anybody have any tips on where to mount two bicycles on the 7.9? Thinking about the stern , but with the outboard back there, thinking it will be in the way.
Thanks, Greg

Re: bicycle mounting
Just wondering, do you have the full stern rail pulpit or just the two grab handles??
Re: bicycle mounting
Dear Greg -
You might think about folding bikes - you can keep them down below & out of the weather.
For about $ 360 I bought a Dahon Espresso. It's got big 26 inch wheels & 21 speeds - you can go far & fast on it, not like those little-wheeled thingies that nobody likes. The Espresso also folds up pretty small - you can get it into the forepeak easily on a 7.9. It fits me, and I'm six foot three, 210 pounds (of fightin' fury!!). The bike's light too - I know that this comment will make the rest of you shudder, but it wouldn't bother me to race with the bike down below - sure wouldn't want to race with bike(s) on the stern rail !!
There may be better folding bikes out there, but I don't know of any . . (No, I don't have stock in the company, nor any other connection to them.)

thanks, guy's. it is a full stern rail, but outboard is in the way when lifted. Taken apart and stowed below was are only option. Went to PUT N BAY this last weekend and the wife brought so mutch stuff there wasn't room for them anyway.
